Job Description
Join us in supporting adults who have developmental disabilities! $15.35-$17.00/hr. A rewarding career opportunity in a unique industry. At KETCH, our Home Support career opportunities are in our group home settings and responsibilities could include - providing supports, teaching, transporting, caregiving, personal care and hygiene assistance, training, educating, mentoring, coaching, community outings, and shopping. This is a positive and uplifting work environment which includes a great paid training program, plus growth and advancement opportunities. Full-time positions - evenings & weekend - plus overtime if available. Some part-time and day shifts are also available . Great work schedules for candidates who are also continuing their education. Home Supports :
- High school diploma or accredited GED
- Valid driver s license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation to and from work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of your total body weight, whichever is less
- Work experience or knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required
- CNA, CMA, HHA, Caregiver or Direct Support Professional experience is beneficial, but not required
- Availability to attend a two week, weekday, day time orientation (M-F 8a-4p)
- Other beneficial experience: Education, Behavior Technician, Direct Support Professional, Teacher, Para, Psychology, Special education, Rehabilitation technician, Caregiving, Skills trainer, Direct Care, Community Living Trainer, CNA, CMA, HHA, PCT, Non-CNA, Home health, Mental health, Patient care technician, Medical supports, Teaching, Autism support, Behavior Specialist, Human services technician, Teaching, mental wellness, Behavior trainer, Behavior modification, Behavior supports, Nursing Home, medical assistant, mental health, DSP, DSW, health care, Medical Aide, Restorative aide, Elder care, home supports, Direct support, Adult care, 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift.
