$17.00/hr (day shift) | $19.00/hr (night shift)

As Needed Commitment:

Minimum of 3 shifts per month (12-hour shifts)

Training Requirement:

Must complete 5 full weekdays of orientation/training in La Grange, KY before starting PRN schedule.

Why you'll love working here: Opportunities to build skills and grow professionally Opportunities for Year-End Bonus Weekly Pay What you'll do: The Direct Support Professional provides quality support and care to the Individuals we support; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations. Supporting daily routines and life skills (staffing ratio typically 1:4) Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs Helping individuals set goals and celebrate progress Encouraging community involvement, friendships, and independence Providing companionship, supportive listening, and positive engagement Maintaining a safe, clean environment and reporting concerns to your supervisor Completing any other duties assigned to support the team What sets you apart: High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older Valid Kentucky or Indiana Driver's License with a clean driving record Preferred Experience 1 year Caregiving If this sounds like the move you've been looking for, apply on this posting or visit www.cedarlake.org/career.
