Community Support Associate

Job Summary A Community Support Associate (CSA) assists individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or those needing social support, helping them live more independently and engage in their communities by providing direct support and coaching in daily living skills, social interactions, and vocational training. Responsibilities Provide direct care to learners with varied needs, focusing on functional living skills, community access, and independent skill development. Uphold learner rights by promoting dignity, respect, and independence in all interactions. Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to enhance skills related to community care. Requirements Be at least 18 years old Have a high school diploma or GED Have a valid Kentucky driver's license and auto insurance Have one year of full-time experience working with people who have behavioral health disorders or co-occurring disorders Complete a training program when hired This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support within a community setting while making a positive impact on the lives of learners. This is a seasonal job during summer but may lead to a full time position in the fall.
