Direct Support Professional Discovering You, LLC - 5.0 Crowley, LA Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Adult Day Program team. DSPs provide direct care, supervision, and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping participants achieve greater independence, social engagement, and quality of life in a safe and positive environment. The ideal candidate is patient, caring, and committed to supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals while promoting dignity, respect, and community inclusion. Duties Provide direct support and supervision to program participants throughout the day. Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and hygiene as needed. Facilitate recreational, educational, vocational, and community-based activities. Encourage participant independence, choice-making, and skill development. Monitor participant health, safety, and well-being. Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reports. Transport participants. Foster positive relationships with participants, families, guardians, and team members. Follow all agency policies, procedures, and state regulations. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
