Personal Care Assistant Caregiver Team Gretna, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $13 - $15 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Paid orientation Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Certified Home Health Aide Toileting assistance State Tested Nursing Assistant Assisting with ADLs Diaper changing First Aid Certification Personal grooming assistance Patient incontinence care assistance CNA Bathing assistance Full Job Description We are seeking kind, dependable, and patient caregivers to provide in-home support for an adult male in his 30s who is nonverbal and requires full hands-on care. He is mobile and able to walk, but benefits from close supervision, patience, and a calm, consistent routine.
Care responsibilities may include:
Pickup from day habilitation/day program Preparing meals for lunch and dinner Feeding assistance Bathing/showering assistance Diaper changes/incontinence care Medication support Assistance with dressing, hygiene, and personal care Support with dinner and bedtime/nighttime routine Providing companionship, respectful supervision, and gentle engagement throughout the shift Communicating updates or concerns to family
Requirements:
Prior caregiving experience preferred Comfortable assisting with bathing, feeding, diaper changes, and full personal care Reliable transportation required Must be dependable and punctual Strong communication skills CNA, CPR, and First Aid certification preferred This position is a good fit for someone who is caring, steady, and looking for meaningful one-on-one caregiving work in a private home setting.
Shifts available:
Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
