Job Description
Equity Staffing Group is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to support hospice patients in the DeRidder and Lake Charles, Louisiana areas. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and helping individuals maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life during their hospice journey. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Full-time, 40 hours per week The Home Health Aide will provide direct personal care and support to hospice patients in their homes and care facilities. This position requires daily travel throughout the service area and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. Responsibilities Provide personal care services to hospice patients in home and facility settings Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and other daily living activities Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical care team Support patients with mobility and positioning needs Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families Follow individualized care plans and hospice care guidelines Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits and services provided Travel daily to multiple patient locations throughout the assigned service area
