• We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our clients. This role is vital in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities and offering companionship.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Provide mobility support, including help with walking, transferring, and exercising. Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records as required. Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities. Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to healthcare professionals. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Previous experience in personal care, healthcare, or a related field is preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and work independently. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others. Physical ability to perform lifting and assistive tasks.
