Job Description

We are looking for a Home care office Assistant to join our team and provide support to our Team and grow with the team. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, performing daily operational functions within Imperial Health office. Duties include scheduling (communicating shift assignments to caregivers and clients), and HR/payroll management. The ideal candidate may have previous experience working in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the health care or home health industry, and experience in caregiving.
Responsibilities:
Manage intake of new referrals/ enter new patients into home care EMR system Oversee clinical staff schedules and place them on home care assignments Provide office support to field clinical staff, providing them with all required supplies, forms and clinical information in a timely manner Coordinate daily/weekly office meeting Prepare and audit biweekly payroll reports and timesheets Consult with clinical managers and clients to provide appropriate staffing solutions Ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Identifies and resolves client customer service issues Cheerfully and professionally answers inbound/intake phone calls Participates in night and weekend on-call rotation as assigned Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress Excellent telephone skills Highly professional and dependable Proficient computer and Internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite Previous customer service or administrative experience required; health care and/or home care experience preferred High school diploma or GED required
