This position offers short shifts that fit your schedule, enabling you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need assistance with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility support and help with transferring and positioning Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being to the supervising nurse or caregiver Offer companionship and emotional support to clients Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures Requirements Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or equivalent Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred, but not required Ability to work short shifts and flexible hours Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and respectful attitude towards clients Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Lynn, MA Benefits Competitive hourly pay between $19.00 - $21.00, paid bi-weekly Flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle Opportunities for training and professional development Supportive team environment with a focus on quality care About the Company Abernathy Home Care is a dedicated provider of home health services committed to improving the quality of life for our clients.
