General Description :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide support to a young woman living in the Mansfield area. The ideal candidate will be an active staff member who is comfortable with transportation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct support and assistance to a young woman in her daily activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual at all times. Transport the individual to various appointments, activities, and community events as needed. Encourage and support active participation in community and recreational activities. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of support provided. Communicate effectively with the individual, family members, and other team members.

Qualifications & Skills :

At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED required Safe driving record, current driver's license, personal vehicle, and current motor vehicle liability insurance required, and ability to successfully pass all background checks. Must reside in or near the Mansfield area. Active and energetic staff preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
