- $26 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Home health care assistance Community care (work setting) Direct support Patient interaction Meal assistance Full Job Description We are currently seeking someone for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to adult male in his family home and in community settings.
- Assist with shaving and prompting through morning routine.
- Oversee/remind him to take his medications .
- Provide transportation to community events/programs.
- Provide support as needed at community events, volunteer opportunities, or activities.
- Ensure his safety and well-being in the community.
- Assist/monitor meal preparation. Support him with food choices in line with dietary restrictions/allergies.
- Assist him with his engagement in community social activities and his volunteer activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Experience with community integration would be welcome.
