Needham, MA Pay Rate:

Up to $21/hour (based on experience)

Duration:

13-week contract to start (potential for extension)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining hands-on experience in human services. Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility, etc.) Provide emotional support and companionship Support participation in community activities and social engagement Help individuals build independence and life skills Follow individualized care plans and document progress Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment Qualifications Previous experience in human services, caregiving, or DSP roles preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, patient, and team-oriented Ability to pass background check and onboarding requirements If you're passionate about supporting others and want to be part of a dedicated team, we'd love to hear from you!
