Job Description:

Freedom House Sober Living is looking for a reliable part-time Sober House Support Assistant to help with weekly house operations at a men's sober living home in New Bedford. This is not a live-in position and not a house manager position. This role is for someone mature, dependable, calm, firm, and professional who can help maintain structure, cleanliness, accountability, and communication within the home.

Responsibilities may include:

Facilitating weekly house meetings Helping facilitate recovery-based check-ins or AA-style meetings Conducting basic room checks Completing chore inspections Coordinating urine screens when needed Assisting with house laundry and supply checks Reporting concerns, violations, or maintenance issues to ownership Submitting simple updates after each shift Maintaining professional boundaries with residents Ideal candidate: Mature, dependable, and consistent Calm but firm personality Comfortable working in a men's sober living environment Able to follow instructions and report clearly Strong boundaries and good communication skills Experience in sober living, recovery support, human services, group homes, shelters, healthcare, home care, church/community work, or similar fields is preferred

Compensation:
