• Baystate Health is looking for BSEP Interns to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment. This role is designed to support your growth, build workplace skills, and provide meaningful exposure to real-world operations while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Key Responsibilities
• + Complete assigned duties as directed by your designated department, in collaboration with your supervisor and based on agreed-upon learning goals.

+ Participate in all required orientation sessions, training workshops, and professional development activities. + Follow all organizational policies, department procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. + Maintain flexibility and readiness to take on additional responsibilities or related duties as assigned.

• Program Requirements
• + Currently enrolled and actively participating in the
• BSEP Academy
• or •BSEP 21st Century Afterschool Program•.

+ Successful completion of required job skills training sessions (previous BSEP participants may be considered with manager approval). + Maintain a professional demeanor and build positive relationships with clients, staff, and peers. + Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain productivity. + Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, along with reliability and accountability.

• Specialized Placement (if applicable)
• For interns placed in a Nursing Unit as a
• Patient Care Technician
• : + Must hold a
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• certification. + Minimum of one month of experience in a healthcare setting. + Current
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification
