Autism & Developmental Disabilities Community Williamsburg, Massachusetts $30,000 Annual Salary + Free Housing + Utilities + Food Allowance Total Compensation Package Valued at $55,000-$65,000+ Annually Live Rent-Free While Making a Meaningful Difference Branching Tree is seeking compassionate, dependable, and mission-driven individuals to join our unique shared-living community as a Live-In Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP). This is more than a caregiving job. You will become part of a welcoming household where adults with and without disabilities live together in genuine community, sharing everyday life while supporting independence, dignity, and meaningful relationships. Our home supports three young adult men with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities, including individuals with higher support needs. Located on 12.5 beautiful acres in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, the home offers a peaceful setting just minutes from Northampton. SCHEDULE
Five days per week: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Live-in presence is required as part of the residential model. Overnight staffing responsibilities are covered by separate overnight staff.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Direct Support Professional, you will help residents build skills, participate in their communities, maintain meaningful relationships, and enjoy fulfilling daily lives. You will provide hands-on support while encouraging independence, choice, self-determination, and personal growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support residents with daily living activities Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed Help prepare meals and maintain household routines Support communication and social engagement Accompany residents on community outings and recreational activities Provide transportation to appointments and activities Support emotional regulation using positive, person-centered approaches Implement individualized support strategies consistently Maintain accurate documentation and communication Collaborate with other staff, families, and providers Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive home environment

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Valid driver's license Ability to pass required background checks Willingness to complete required trainings
Preferred:
Experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities Experience in caregiving, healthcare, education, social services, or human services Medication administration experience First Aid/CPR certification Individuals with strong personal qualities and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.
