Pay Rate:
$21 per hour
Schedule:
| Monday-Friday | 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a new client joining our services in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support with daily living activities, community integration, and recreational activities. Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Encourage communication, social engagement, and positive interactions. Support household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. Accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and scheduled activities. Administer medications as prescribed while following proper documentation and safety procedures. Implement positive behavior support strategies and redirection techniques when needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reports. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individual at all times. Promptly report concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to supervisors.
Requirements:
DDA Core Training CPR Certification Bloodborne Pathogens Training Mandt Training CMT (Certified Medication Technician) Valid Driver's License Reliable, compassionate, and professional
