Direct Support Professional - Overnight

MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a DDA Provider of Residential Services. We are currently accepting resumes for Overnight DSPs to support individuals living in our Prince George's County homes, including the Bowie area.

Requirements:

Possess a valid driver's license This is an AWAKE overnight position. You will not be able to sleep, as there will be time-stamped documentation filled out during the night Must be comfortable with computers and your cell phone, as software interaction is required Must be willing to drive medical transport vans Must be able to work 7 nights on/7 nights off - schedules are Wednesday -

Wednesday Preferred:

Accredited Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related work experience Associate's degree with related work experience

First Aid/CPR and CMT Responsibilities Include:

This is an AWAKE overnight position. You will not be able to sleep, as there will be time-stamped documentation filled out during the night Monitoring individuals during overnight hours to ensure safety and well-being Administering medication and monitoring individual's physical health Responsible for the personal care of the individuals served Maintaining the individual's home in a clean, safe, and home-like environment, as stated in DDA Regulations Documenting overnight observations and completing communication logs for morning shift transitions Assisting with nightly routines Supporting community integration/leisure activities in accordance with the individual's PCP Facilitating the development and monitoring of personal relationships MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a private non-profit Provider of the highest quality health and human services.
