Direct Support Professional for Summer Germantown, MD Temporary, Seasonal Temporary, Seasonal Creed Medical Group Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the summer season. This temporary position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during the summer months. As a Summer Direct Support Professional, you will assist clients with daily living activities, encourage participation in seasonal community events, and support their overall well-being in a supportive, engaging environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain meaningful experience in healthcare and social services while making a difference. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks tailored to individual needs. Support and encourage clients' participation in summer activities and community outings. Implement individualized support plans under supervision. Maintain documentation of care and progress. Ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for clients. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in caregiving or direct support is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible summer hours, including weekdays and weekends. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
