Job Description

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Southern Maryland We are seeking experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff with a strong background in serving youth placed in temporary foster care homes in Southern Maryland. The ideal candidate must possess the following: Prior experience working with youth in foster care, group homes, or residential settings Ability to provide 1:1 supervision, safety monitoring, and behavioral support Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills Excellent communication and documentation skills (progress notes and incident reporting) Ability to follow care plans, behavior plans, and agency protocols Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Southern Maryland Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed Professionalism, patience, and trauma-informed care approach CPR/First Aid, CMT & CPI certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) Must pass Drug Test, Background Check and CPS clearance If you are passionate about supporting youth in care and making a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
