Direct Support Professional (DSP), Wells Maine 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Morrison Center is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in Wells, Maine Morrison Center is hiring an additional Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP), 18 Hours a week,
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday:
8am - 2pm. The DSP must be willing to transport clients out into the community, provide personal care, complete daily documentation, and have a good understanding of what community supports is. DSP staffer to support the clients in maintaining, obtaining, and managing their goals. Requirements of theDirect Support Professional:
HS Diploma or GED Required DSP Certification preferred but will train the right candidate CPR/First Aid Certification Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Valid Maine Driver's license required and a clean driving record Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someone's private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well.
