Responsibilities:

Personal care assistance — bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting Meal preparation and feeding assistance Medication reminders — not administration Companionship and cognitive engagement Light housekeeping and laundry Safety supervision and fall prevention Accurate documentation of client condition and daily activities Communication with RN supervisor regarding any changes in client condition

Requirements:

Minimum one year paid caregiving experience — home care, CNA, assisted living, or similar High school diploma or GED Valid Michigan drivers license and reliable transportation to client homes Must pass criminal background check Must provide proof of negative TB test within last 12 months or complete one prior to start CPR and First Aid certification required — must obtain prior to first placement Eligible to work in the United States Professional references — two minimum Preferred but not required: CNA certification Dementia or memory care experience Experience with transfers and mobility assistance How to
