Job Description
Right at Home is seeking experienced, compassionate, and dependable Care Leaders to join our team. This role is perfect for skilled caregivers ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to provide hands-on care and support. About the Role As a Care Leader, you will work closely with the Care Coordinator and Scheduling team to support both clients and caregivers in the field. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, ensuring smooth client starts, and supporting your fellow team members. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Care Coordinator and Scheduling team to ensure proper coverage and continuity of care Assist with client care visits and ongoing support Step in to cover caregiver call-offs when needed Support new client starts, including introductions and new shift kick-offs Assist with onboarding, introductions, and training of new caregivers Maintain clear communication between clients, caregivers, and the office team Care Expertise Required Care Leaders must be compassionate, caring and have extensive experience across all levels of care, including: Companion and homemaker services Personal care Bedside care Hospice and higher-acuity care 2 + years experience Alzheimer's and Dementia experience Gait belt, Hoyer lift and Sit To Stand lift experience Preferred HHA or CNA certificate You must be confident in your ability to walk into any client's home, review the care plan, and perform all required care tasks safely and effectively. Leadership Expectations Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism and high-quality care Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to caregivers in the field Reinforce best practices and company standards Growth Opportunity This position is a development role to a possible Care Coordinator Assistant role. As you grow, you will begin learning how to: Perform care evaluations for prospective clients Support care planning and coordination Take on expanded leadership responsibilities What We're Looking For Strong experience in home care across multiple service levels, HHA or CNA preferred with 2 + years' experience Confidence and adaptability in a variety of care environments Excellent communication and leadership skills Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented mindset Passion for supporting both clients and caregivers Why Join Right at Home?
