Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team located in Durand as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This energetic and rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring their safety and comfort. You will work closely with clients who may have diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or dementia care. Your dedication will help promote independence and enhance quality of life within the comfort of their home environment. Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed and maintaining cleanliness during food handling. Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall well-being. Document meticulously, including medication administration, patient observations, and care provided to ensure continuity of care across long-term care settings. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred. Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals. Excellent patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, patient-centered care in home and community settings. Able to pass a criminal background check. Have up to date/current drivers license or state issued id. Hours Needed & Location Monday thru Friday 9am-1030, (10-1) 1230-130 (1-2), 215-4, 415-645pm & Every other weekend:
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
9am-630pm. 3-4 homes in the Durand & Vernon area, within 5-7 miles of each other.
Pay:
$17.13 per hour
