Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to residents in various care settings. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will ensure residents receive personalized assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment . Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols while maintaining accurate documentation . Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure residents' health stability Support residents with memory care needs by implementing personalized care plans for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or dementia Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas Document observations, incidents, and care provided accurately to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies. Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, and behavior management techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting must be available to work some weekends

From $14.00 per hour
