Job OverviewJoin our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for your clients. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help promote independence and enhance quality of life for those you serve. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with health care professionals and gain valuable experience in home health and senior care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using tools such as Hoyer lifts and transfer belts. Monitor patient observations by recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately. Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Document medical records and care notes accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless communication among health care teams. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and well-being. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to support overall health and comfort.
