Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where your dedication and caregiving skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for your clients. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will foster a supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in hospice or memory care settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and comfort Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting changes promptly using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support patients with mobility needs by operating assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and ensuring safe transfer techniques Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral support Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment Document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Experience Prior experience in home health care or assisted living environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and medical documentation practices Experience operating EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for accurate record keeping Knowledge of hospice care principles and hospice-specific patient needs is a plus Long-term care experience in nursing homes or senior care settings is advantageous Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, or other relevant health safety training is required Join us in delivering exceptional home health services where your caring nature and professional expertise will truly impact lives. $17.13 - $19.00 per hour
