Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with clients and their families to deliver high-quality care that enhances well-being and supports health goals. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will be essential in creating a positive and supportive environment for those you serve. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper medication management following HIPAA guidelines Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral support Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to promote safety and comfort Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the home environment Perform light housekeeping tasks like laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living space to support overall health and well-being Document medical records thoroughly and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Requirements Proven experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living or nursing home environments; long-term care experience is highly valued Knowledge of medical terminology, patient observation techniques, and documentation procedures using EMR/EHR systems Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as hospice care, dementia care, or medication administration are preferred Ability to assist with complex tasks like catheter care, hospice support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Strong interpersonal skills to connect empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds including seniors and individuals with disabilities Ability to work independently while following safety protocols such as HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Flexibility for live-in employment options or scheduled visits based on patient needs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often necessary for home visits Join us in delivering exceptional home health services that empower individuals to live safely and comfortably at home. $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
