•Allied Home Health Care and Nursing Services, LLC Allied Home Health Care and Nursing Services, LLC is a physical therapist owned skilled home health care agency based out of Detroit, Michigan. This company was created for the sole purpose of providing top quality care to patients and making them feel comfortable and supported. We currently hold a contract with the Detroit VA to provide Home Health Aide services to veterans. We get authorized anywhere from 6-24 hours a week to provide services to the veterans. Some of the services we provide to the veterans are light housekeeping, meal prep, quality time, showers, and many others. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, motivated, and ready to work for a full time or part time position with Allied. Responsibilities Provide health care services in patients residences Perform domestic and household tasks Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital Assist with clients personal care activities Maintain patients care records and document provided services Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Proven working experience as home health aide Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality Current CPR certificate Recent TB Screening First Aid training Valid driver's license High school degree
