• A typical day for a Direct Support Professional includes the following:
• + Assisting your clients with their community goals as written in their plan of care + Community Living Supports are used to increase or maintain the following: + personal self-sufficiency, + facilitating an individual's achievement of his goals of community inclusion and participation, + Independence or productivity.

• Eligibility Requirements:

• + High School Diploma or GED/GSD + Valid Driver's License + Auto insurance and reliable transportation + Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training _Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements.
