Progressive Residential Services is looking for YOU to join our TEAM of caring individuals to work with Developmentally Disabled, Mentally Ill or Geriatric Adults, in our supportive living settings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

(include but not limited too): Aiding and instructing consumers daily in self-care skills i.e., dressing, bathing, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. To assist consumer transfer. Supervising and participating in leisure activities and field trips and transporting consumers. Review and remain up to date with State Licensing Rules and Regulations. Routine handling, dispensation and record keeping of consumers' medications within established policies and guidelines. Food preparation according to established guidelines and menus. Routine property maintenance and housekeeping including general cleaning, laundry, window washing, clearing, walkways of snow, etc. Compliance with consumer rights s prescribed by PRS, INC. and funding source. Drive or coordinate transportation for community-integrated activities. Must be able to document programming, process notes and other required reports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50lbs., transferring consumers, walking, pushing wheelchairs, Kneeling, bending, reaching and occasionally remaining on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to handle and use cleaning products.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Valid state driver's license and good driving record. Must be flexible and able to stay on the next scheduled shift until the appropriate number of personnel are in place or until they are released by the Program Manager. Clear TB test. Clear record of abuse/neglect. Successful completion of the post-offer process including criminal history check and professional references. We look forward to meeting you!
