Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time Caregiver / Home Health Aide, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing personalized care. In this role, you will provide essential support with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional companionship, ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued in their own homes or assisted living environments. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help promote independence and enhance quality of life for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration precisely in medical records Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through tailored memory care techniques and patience Support clients with medical procedures such as catheter care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with feeding when required; perform light cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment Document all patient care activities thoroughly while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy Qualifications Proven experience in home health, long-term care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical documentation practices Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for accurate record keeping Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require specialized Alzheimer's/memory care is highly desirable Flexibility to work part-time hours including live-in shifts if needed; reliable transportation preferred Join us in providing compassionate home health services that empower clients to live independently while receiving the highest quality of personalized care. $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
