Job Title:
CNA / Pediatric Support Staff (Part-Time- High-Needs Client)
Location:
[Bloomington,Richfield and Edina]Schedule:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's 7:30 AM- 5:00
PM Pay:
$23.15 per hour PTO availableJob Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and active CNA or Support Staff to assist in the daily care of a child with cerebral palsy. This is a hands-on, non-sedentary role requiring consistent physical engagement, attentiveness, and support with daily living and therapeutic activities.Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-day care and supervision in a home and community setting Assist with diaper changes and hygiene care throughout the day Support with occasional clothing changes and light laundry due to accidents Assist with frequent repositioning (every 1.5-2 hours) Perform daily range-of-motion exercises (leg movements, arm stretches, positioning) Support participation in PT and OT routines Administer water flushes every 1.5-2 hours Assist with G-tube or G-J tube feedings (preferred experience) Support medication routines (certification preferred but not required) Safely lift and assist a 30-40 lb child multiple times throughout the day Transport to: PT/OT appointments Medication pickup (Burnsville) Medical supply pickup (Roseville) Engage in age-appropriate activities (park, walks, library, outings, etc.)Additional Schedule Notes:
Intensive Therapy begins June 1st (1:00 PM- 4:00 PM) During this time, you may leave but must remain within 5-10 minutes of the clinic
Requirements:
CNA certification preferred (or relevant caregiving experience) Experience with pediatric care and/or special needs strongly preferred G-tube or G-J tube experience preferred Medication administration certification is a plus (not required) Must be physically capable of lifting and assisting 30-40 lbs regularly Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Comfortable driving to appointments and running medical-related errands Must pass DHS background check and fingerprinting Dependable, punctual, and able to work independentlyTraining:
