Job Description

Position:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
  • Implement individualized care plans and follow all applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any significant observations or incidents
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in nursing, social work, or a related field is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Experience in childcare or working with individuals with special needs is highly desirable
  • Ability to lift and assist with the transfer of individuals as needed This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
