Company Overview Heartland Homes of Duluth, LLC. is an Adult Foster Care company dedicated to providing exceptional care for high functioning adults diagnosed with complex emotional needs. Our mission focuses on teaching our clients basic life skills so they can live on their own, and or feel confidant when integrating into the community. We are as small family run company with homes throughout Duluth. Please check out our website at Heartlandhomesofduluthllc.com Summary We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our compassionate team in Duluth MN. All paid training is provided(minimum wage). In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents 24/7 by fostering personal growth and development. Your contributions will help us uphold our mission of providing a structured and respectful environment, allowing our clients to live independently.
Responsibilities:
Monitor residents' progress and provide feedback to the care team. Assist in conflict resolution and behavioral management as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of mentoring sessions and client's progress. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Medication administration Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Use company vehicles to transport our clients to and from medial appointments and community activities
Qualifications:
(degrees and or experience is preferred but not mandated) Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle conflicts effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.57 per hour
