Empowered Life Services has openings for Direct Support Positions in various locations around the twin cities. We are a home and community-based provider serving individuals with a wide range of needs. We use both in person centered and curriculum based training to foster an environment of learning and creating to promote staff and client success. If you'd like to be apart of something greater, come work with us! Previous experience is preferred but not required

• Hourly pay rate: $19.00/hr
• $300 bonus every 90 days

Support individuals using person-centered strategies in order to help them develop, achieve goals, problem solve and advocate for themselves Support individuals to participate in the activities they enjoy and such as getting a cup of coffee, going for a walk around the park, or seeing a movie Role modeling positive interactions and supporting clients to have meaningful relationships Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and healthy nutrition Manage a caseload of individuals maintaining communication with outside care team members, completing log and data notes, and participating in care team meetings Benefits for a

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with proof of insurance Ability to pass DHS background check Must be able to regularly lift 25-30 pounds Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance The ability to remain calm in difficult or unusual circumstances Good communication skills, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management and basic computer skills The ability to remain patient, be compassionate, reliable and responsible
