Direct Support Professional (DSP) - IHS | Female Staff Only Kindly Care Inc Inver Grove Heights, MN Job Details Part-time $20 - $22 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Passenger vehicle Working with individuals with disabilities Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Driver's License Direct support Working with adults with disabilities Full Job Description About this role Kindly Care is looking for a compassionate, experienced female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one Individualized Home Supports (IHS) with Training for a woman in her early 30s in Washington County, MN. Per our client's personal preference and comfort, we are only accepting female applicants for this position. Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (15 hours per week). About the person you will support Our client is a warm, motivated woman working toward greater independence and community connection. She has complex behavioral support needs and thrives with consistent, patient staff who practice person-centered care.
Her goals include:
Getting out in the community to socialize and try new activities Building memory skills through daily routines, games, and writing practice Improving physical health and mobility Exploring future employment and volunteer opportunities What you will do Safely transport the client to community outings, appointments, and social activities Provide one-on-one support in the home and in the community Assist with activities of daily living, memory exercises, and skill-building Support and document progress toward personal goals per the Individual Service Plan Communicate regularly with the care team and family Complete all required training Requirements Female applicants only — per client preference and comfort Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities — required Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs strongly preferred Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record — required No major violations or DUIs Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance — required Ability to pass a MN DHS background check High school diploma or equivalent Compensation and details
Pay:
$20-$22/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (15 hrs/week) Mileage reimbursement for client transportation All required training provided and paid Stable, long-term placement with a supportive care team How to apply Please send a brief message about yourself and your experience to or call/text 612-807-5077.
