Job Description

Hiring Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
  • for Blind Individual with Disabilities We are seeking a compassionate, patient & dependable Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support for our 16 year old daughter who is blind with disabilities.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assistance with personal care (dressing, grooming, toileting & etc)
  • Feeding assistance as needed including G-Tube Feedings
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assistance with mobility and daily activities
  • Transportation to appointments or community outings (if required)
  • Companionship and supportive communication
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7:30 am-5:00pm
Location:
Karlstad Pay:
$23.74 per hour
Requirements:
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred
  • Experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired is a plus
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Patient, respectful, and attentive to safety
  • References required
  • Background check required Must have caregiving experience, references, and reliable transportation.
