Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Pay:

$16+ an hour (based on experience)

Shifts Available:

Float position. Hours are as needed and every other is weekend mandatory. Position Summary Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on support to individuals in group home and in-home settings, helping them live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible. Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and basic health monitoring. Encourage independence and support skill-building in everyday tasks. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. Prepare meals, assist with grocery shopping, and complete light housekeeping. Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, errands, and community activities. Build positive relationships with individuals and families served. Accurately document services and communicate changes or concerns to supervisors. Follow care plans, policies, and training guidelines. What We're Looking For Reliable, self-motivated team players who can follow direction and work independently. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and light lifting. A respectful, patient, and professional approach to care.
