In this role, you will be a vital part of enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA privacy standards Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control procedures Document care plans, patient observations, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive community atmosphere Transport residents to appointments Qualifications Fluency in both Somali and English languages is essential for effective communication with clients and team members Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification or training in first aid, CPR Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards diverse populations of seniors or individuals with disabilities Join our dedicated team where your energy fuels compassionate care!
