In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those in need of assistance in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. Your commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients will be crucial in helping them achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide patient care and support in a respectful and dignified manner Facilitate meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence and self-sufficiency Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client mobility Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors Skills Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred Strong background in patient care and senior care practices Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and compassion Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe environment Knowledge of basic nursing principles is advantageous Competence in meal preparation that meets dietary needs of clients Capability for heavy lifting as required by client needs Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve!
