Restart, Inc. is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization founded in 1986, dedicated to providing Housing with Services, and Independent Living Skills Services for individuals living with brain injuries and related disabilities. Our mission is to empower clients by teaching them strategies for daily living and facilitating their reentry into the community. About the role We are looking for a DSP professional who can support our growing needs. Specifically, this position would work out of one of our homes in South Minneapolis. This is a FT Tues-Fri + EOW 6a-2p Do you have a passion for working with individuals as a caregiver? Do you have experience caring for adults with disabilities, especially those who have sustained traumatic brain injury (TBI), and who are working to rebuild their lives? Our clients need you because you are a great communicator and possess a caring demeanor. Responsibilities Provide compassionate caregiving and support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities. Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Observe and document patient behavior and health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with other team members to enhance the quality of care provided. Qualifications Experience in care giving to a variety of disabled adults An outstanding attendance record Medical training An adaptive personality and a patient mind-set Eagerness to learn and grow Flexible and able to work at different sites as scheduled The pay range for this role is: 18 - 18 USD per hour(Minnehaha)
