Direct Support Professional

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives by providing companionship with daily living and community events. Starting wage of up to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience and placement, with a raise and bonus available in first 60 days of employment. Applicant must be able to drive and have their own vehicle for transportation. Must also be able to assist with personal cares such as bathing and toileting. 3-5 shifts per week from 8 am to 12pm and every other weekend is required to be available. Qualifications Strong caregiving skills Comfortable with assisting with personal cares such as bathing and toileting Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Basic knowledge of first aid and patient observation Experience in group home or assisted living environments is a plus Willingness to learn and adapt in home and community care settings Ability to drive and own vehicle for transportation No prior experience required; training will be provided
