Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
  • Promote independence and community integration for individuals
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and resident progress
  • Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected
Requirements:
  • Experience or training in medication administration
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of systems and resources for individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with residents, families, and staff members
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to improving the lives of others.
