Job Description
AXIS is looking for Direct Support Professional to support individuals with disabilities in their homes. You provide support to help them live their best life! No experience necessary, but preferred. We provide paid training. Ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, upbeat, outgoing individual that likes to have fun! Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record, be able to pass a criminal background check and able to lift up to 50lbs.
Direct Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health diagnoses.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene
- Implement behavior management support as needed
- Administer medications following proper protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for individuals in their home settings and in the community
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic care We have multiple full-time and part-time DSP positions available with various hours and locations available throughout
Ramsey County Fulltime:
Mounds View- Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am-8pm (72 hours/pay period) White Bear Lake
- Every Wednesday 6am-8pm, Friday 8am-8pm and every other Tuesday and Thursday 6am-8pm (80 hours/pay period)
Parttime:
White Bear Lake- Every other weekend 7am-11pm (32 hours/pay period) Roseville
