Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Regency Management - Cape Girardeau / Jackson Area Overview Regency Management is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential apartment setting. In this role, you will help individuals live safe, independent, and meaningful lives by providing daily support, encouragement, and care. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Prepare meals and assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation Support individuals in community activities and appointments Follow Individual Support Plans (ISP) and assist individuals in reaching personal goals Maintain a safe and positive living environment DSP staff may work with 1-4 individuals in residential apartments depending on program needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license (Missouri Class E license or ability to obtain) Ability to pass background screenings Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently Full-time employees must be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
