Up to $3 shift differential for weekends! About the Role As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Impact Support Services, you'll provide person-centered support to youth and adults with disabilities in their home, community, and program settings. You'll help individuals build independence, achieve personal goals, participate in meaningful activities, and maintain their health, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities Support youth and/or adults with disabilities in structured program, in-home, and community-based activities Foster social, behavioral, and life skill development through age-appropriate experiences Support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and community participation Implement individualized goals, service plans, and positive support strategies Facilitate skill-building activities that promote independence and personal growth Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and programming as assigned Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment Required Skills Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency software systems Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to individual needs
KEY REQUIREMENTS
18+ years of age High school diploma, GED or equivalent Valid driver's license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire) Proof of vehicle insurance Successful completion of background checks and reference verification Work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand or sit for several hours and bend, stoop
