Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely when necessary. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment for clients. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Skills Experience in senior care or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
