This job is for a part-time in-home Personal Care Assistant for a 15 year old boy. We live in Gladstone, MO. Pay rate is from $20-$28 Per hour depending on experience, skill level, and availability. Must have high school diploma or equivalent plus valid CPR & First Aid certification. The position involves physical support of my son to assist with daily living activities as the main focus (dressing, bathing, toileting). He weighs ~ 70 pounds, is able to walk mostly independently, but does require some assistance. It also involves tube feeding using a pump (formula) and possible medication administration (detailed training will be given). Other duties include changing diapers and supporting communication goals (using TouchChat). My son does have some behaviors periodically-typically he will display frustration when he's in pain or unable to communicate his needs (very typical of a nonverbal person). Other skills/traits that are vital to this job: good communication skills, cleanliness, flexibility, consistency, reliability, and a kind and calm demeanor. •Current hours needed (reach out even if you can't fulfill all of the shifts)
EVERY OTHER
Saturday & Sunday (8 hour shift).
Weekdays:
