SMS strives to provide high quality supports and services to individuals with Intellectual and or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) promoting independence, full inclusion, and integration within their community to enhance quality of life. Show Me Supports, LLC offers Individualized Supported Living, Shared Living (Host and Companion Home), and a variety of Personal Assistant services for individuals with IDD in Southwest Missouri in order to enhance their lives through offering full participation and integration into their community. Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties Performing personal care supports, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, nutrition, and health care related oversight Ensuring individual safety and maintaining a safe environment Reminding/supporting individuals with medication management Documenting services provided Performing home management supports such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning Planning meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, feeding and clean-up Accompanying individual to scheduled appointments Transporting individual to choice of community outings Other duties as assigned to support an individual's needs

Qualifications:

High school degree/GED required 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements Medication Administration as required by state/program requirements 3 ways to begin your application process: Contact us through this advertisement Call (417-317-4948) or stop by our office (925 E. 12th St., Joplin, MO 64801) and introduce yourself
