Job Description
Audrain Developmental Disability Services (ADDS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive services and resources for individuals with developmental disabilities in and around Mexico, MO. We believe in empowering individuals to achieve self-determination, lead fulfilling lives, and actively participate in their communities. Our programs are tailored to meet each person's unique needs, fostering growth and social engagement within the Mexico community and beyond. Job Summary The Community Integration Specialist is responsible for safely transporting consumers to and from medical appointments, community activities, and other scheduled destinations. In addition, this role provides direct support within a group residential setting, assisting consumers with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, reliable transportation for consumers to appointments, errands, and community outings Ensure punctuality and adherence to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times Assist consumers in entering and exiting vehicles as needed Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles Follow all traffic laws and organizational transportation policies Support residents in daily living activities, including meal preparation, hygiene, and housekeeping Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by policy) Encourage and support participation in social, recreational, and life skills activities Monitor and report any changes in consumers' behavior, health, or needs Maintain accurate documentation of services providedQualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (willingness to obtain within 60 days) Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (if applicable) Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or a related field preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPay:
